We have decided to plant a vegetable garden this spring - if it ever gets here. In the meantime, I get to do one of my favorite things: plan. So - friends - help us out. What should we plant? Should we use a raised planter or perhaps lovely gardening pots (frankly - with Woodrow still a puppy, just a garden straight on the ground sounds like disaster).

Here's Kiernan preparing for this adventure by driving a tractor at the
Children's Discovery Museum.

"My turn drive?"
Very cute.
I wish I was a better gardener, so I could be of some help. But you should grow tomatoes, they're the best. Love you all!
This is a good idea. I'm sure you'll be a better gardener than me. I like the idea of gardens, but I hate to weed.
You should check out the K-State Research & Extension Lawn and Garden page: http://www.ksre.ksu.edu/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=24
Ooh how exciting! Sunrise Garden Center can give you really great advice on what would be good to plant. I can get you some very helpful handouts from them!
Keeping the dog out with a low fence shouldn't be a problem. Is this really a first-time garden for you? Exciting! Green beans and tomatoes are fool-proof, even for an old fool like me!
Love to you,
Mar
